How To Successfully Fight With Acne

As many of you probably know my skin is very prone to acne, I was getting awful breakouts since I was thirteen. I was visiting beauty salons, but it seemed that with zero luck; everything that was popped out was right back the other day. I also found out about the odd satisfaction from popping your own pimples and some of my problems were definitely caused by not handling the skin properly.

However, these days I am not popping out things that I shouldn't, and everytime I do, I try to clean my hands and face properly. I still don't know how to get rid of those blackheads but hopefully one day, my skin will be completely clean.

I remember suffering from insecurities about my skin, I felt really unpretty and honestly, disgusting. Using makeup I started to overcome these insecurities and with regular cleaning my skin has become much better. If only I could use makeup back then, I feel that my self esteem would be improved. I know what you may think, I should work on it mentally and not trying to hide it, but when you're like 12-14 it's hard to know better. In that age I don't really think it is actually achievable to be completely confident from within.

But back to my routine. I do this every morning and evening, and during weekends it is a little bit different. I found these products very useful, some of these were recommended to me by my mum or sent to me (I will state which ones). I am however not paid to do this article, I just wanted to share what I do. That's all.

First of all, I need to tell you about brands that are my favourites. I am definitely not using every product from them, but I used some and I really liked it. One of them is Bioderma, which I am really using for like 6 years. I am quite a fan of this brand, they have very good products especially for oily skin.

Another one is German based skin care brand called Dr. Hauschka, my mum started using it nearly a year ago and gave me some of their cleansing pastes. Another thing that greatly helped me was a cream from pharmacy called Duac Gel (my dermatologist prescribed me this). I don't really think that you have the exact same medicine in your country so I link only the ingredients. This gel made wonders for my skin and I really love using it.
This one is my favourite cleansing paste. I use it only in the evening, even for prevention.
In addition, I use this liquid gel, mostly in the morning, to give my skin nice fresh feeling.

One of my favourite cream for moisturising my skin is definitely La Roche Posay. I have currently been using this for about 2 years and it makes my skin feel really glowy. I've never liked any moisturisers because it used to feel wrong, but when I use a small amount it is very nice afterwards so I just use it like that. I also adore their lip moisturiser, which is very different than other similar products in its texture. What I found very useful is that my lips are not dry even when outside.

This cream is also one of mum's favourites which she gave out to me as well. It has a nice texture, it's not as liquidy as your typical moisturiser.

At evening I use Duac Gel, that cream from pharmacy I was mentioning above. It really helped me to get rid of most of my breakouts. Unfortunately I currently lost it somewhere and I needed to take photos so I have only picture of this one. It is very similar but duac is my favourite.
For weekends I use scrubs for exfoliation. Many skin care specialists say that getting rid of dead skin cells is very important, so when I, received the package of Mark Scrubs I incorporated it into my routine.

So these are all of the products I use. As you can see I don't use many of them. I don't really think that quantity is a way to go, I prefer simplicity. It is also because of lack of time available for this, so I'm trying to be as efficient as possible. Hope you like this post and maybe find it a bit useful in your fight with acne.
